The Department of Languages, Cultures & Film wishes to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching & Scholarship) in Spanish to maintain and enhance our successful and innovative delivery of Spanish language teaching at undergraduate level and to contribute to ongoing departmental and School initiatives in language teaching and learning that form part of a wider Liverpool Languages Strategy. An increasing use of blended learning and technology-enhanced teaching methods are just two of the characteristic features of our current departmental initiatives, as well as the enhanced use of authentic assessment. Within Iberian and Latin American Studies, there is clear emphasis on developing the curriculum with a keen awareness of the importance of drawing on the rich and varied cultures and linguistic features of the areas in which Spanish is spoken.
