Apollo Home Healthcare are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants who have a genuine interest in working with children and would like to work in role where you are making a difference to their day-to-day life.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a teenage boy who lives with his family in Cheadle and requires support with his complex care needs throughout the day on a 1:1 basis.

He requires an enthusiastic and committed individual who is happy to engage and interact in the activities he enjoys. He loves to listen and explore his musical toys, enjoys watching his favourite movies and cartoons, and exploring his light up toys.

Throughout the day he does attend school which he loves and thrives along with his care team, your role will be to accompany him to his educational setting, engaging positively with his learning experiences and supporting with all his daily tasks such as personal care, moving, and handling, and attending to his clinical care needs when required.

He is unable to mobilise but does have the use of a wheelchair which gives him the independence to move freely around his home.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Children's experience within a healthcare setting

**Desirable Experience**
- Epilepsy and seizure Management
- Oxygen Management
- Oral Suctioning
- Experience working with challenging behaviours

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time Days
- 2-3 shifts per week
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00am - 4:00pm

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weekdays: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £112 per 8-hour shift)

Bank Holidays: £17.50 per hour (Approx. £140 per 8-hour shift)
