Are you an experienced HR individual who is looking to make an impact? If so, this is a great opportunity for a you to join our client, to work closely with the leadership team and to business partner with them to navigate the future.

From a HR perspective you will be responsible for the Nottingham site, You will be supporting managers to implement defined HR initiatives and supporting employees within the framework of both our local and global guidelines. To manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the departments day to day operations and optimise efficiency. To be highly motivated and passionate about providing the best possible service to internal and external customers.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7am till 16:00 with a 14:00 finish on fridays

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Management and supervisory
- Ensure effective recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
- Promoting equality, health and safety within the company
- Provide general personal management support including performance management,
- appraisals, disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Ensure all staff are legally and gainfully employed with up to date contracts
- Organise and oversee staff induction and training.
- Utilisation of the outsourced HR service where and when appropriate.
- Work closely with team leaders to ensure smooth running of the business on a day-to-day basis.
- Develop excellent teamwork and organise social functions
- Manage the staff appraisal scheme
- Manage the personal development and training plan for all staff
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times and encourage the professionalism of all staff
- Manage the annual leave system for all staff
- Always maintain proper personnel records

- Basic literacy and mathematical qualifications
- Relevant management, HR or IT training
- Evidence of continuing professional development
