We are looking for a
**Finance Business Partner** to join our Finance team. This role will be based at either our Poole Head Office office, or our Merlin Technical Hub in Chertsey, and reports into the Senior Finance Business Partner - Corporate on a
**6 month fixed-term basis.**

Join our team as a Finance Business Partner and play a key role in shaping the future of Merlin Entertainments Drive top-notch business targets and budgets while providing valuable insights to drive efficiency and challenge the norm. Be a trusted advisor with your blend of analysis and problem-solving skills and bring the Merlin Way to life by demonstrating ownership, innovation, and a love for fun.

You'll drive key financial decisions as a Finance Business Partner with focus on delivering departmental objectives and budgets. Partner with the Finance Hub for accurate reporting and provide insightful analysis to drive improved performance. You'll also manage financial governance, act as a finance ambassador, and support complex analysis.

**More about the Role...**
- You will develop cost centre reporting across our global technology division to enable accurately and timely reporting of costs, variance analysis & next step recommendations
- Lead cyclical cost centre review sessions with senior stakeholders providing key financial support & challenge
- Improve governance, control & reporting around project accounting for global technology projects
- Enhance project reporting & build strong relationships with PM teams to ensure we have a clear view on project spend vs. progress of project
- Be clear on risks & opportunities within the cost base taking appropriate action to mitigate or capitalise on, alongside the technology heads

**About You**
- Ideally degree educated
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- Proven and demonstrable business partnering experience or technical role within a Shared Service environment
- Good analytical ability with a good attention to detail
- Good communication skills with the ability to present plans to support business decisions to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Ideally have experience in a consumer facing organisation with a continuous improvement agenda
