As a result of our expansion plans, andour continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Digital Trading Executive to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.

About the Role:
The **Digital Trading Executive**will deliver the online trading and product merchandising strategy across several key product categories. They will have complete responsibility for sales and conversion targets in these major selling areas,working closely with the relevant Buying teams to understand product development and commercial opportunities in each category. They will exploit maximum commercial value from each category and product, while maintaining an excellent customer experience. Toachieve this, they will have at their disposal a suite of merchandising and search technology, analytics, and business intelligence tools to maximise visibility, conversion rates, cross-selling opportunities and ultimately, sales growth.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Accountability for sales revenues generated by product categories they are responsible for
- Accountability for Digital Trading KPIs including online conversion rate, category bounce rates
- Reporting on these KPIs including sales in an effective manner, using standard retail sales analysis as well as more complex web analytics metrics
- Using data to discover actionable insights that will improve category performance
- Responsible for the effective online merchandising of product on our customer-facing transactional website, leading to increased sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction, using all tools at their disposal including but not limited to browse, navigation,creative, and search elements. Identify missing opportunities where each product category could be further improved.
- Ensuring the brand is maintained and protected within the scope of online trading & merchandising
- Developing a full understanding of the online category statistics, the product range, new product development, range planning, and commercial factors relating to their product categories
- Being a liaison point between individual Buying departments and the Multichannel division, working closely on product promotion decisions and product launches, relaying back multichannel performance statistics, challenges, and pertinent commercial informationas appropriate and ensure campaigns and events are stocked with a full product range.
- Look into missing opportunities where we can adapt / have a more diverse product range per your product category
- Using data to identify products that sell well together and ensuring this is displayed for each product.
- Look into seasonal trends, display products and merchandise accordingly per your product category

Person Specification:

- Team Player. Recognises skills gap and potential for development
- Confidence in their work and
- Educated to degree level is preferable but not essential based on experience
- Identifies issues and finds methodological approach in solving them
- Has an eye for detail
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

**Position**:12 month FTC

**Hours**: Monday - Friday, 08:45am - 17:30pm.

**Location**:Plymouth, Devon
