**Purpose of the role**

The purpose of this role is to ensure that Hastam meets all its business, legal and moral obligations in terms of the sales account management. Primarily this role is designed to assist the business to maximise product and services sales by:

- Creating an agreed number of new sales leads per month
- Working with the consultants to define client’s needs, agree solutions, produce proposals and close out sales opportunities
- Maintaining all aspects of sales management and record keeping
- Providing sales information to the Managing Director on a weekly basis
- Fostering relationships with all Hastam sales accounts and potential accounts
- Contributing to the on-going development of the business

**Reporting and Accountability**

The person appointed to this role reports directly to the Managing Director and is accountable to the Hastam Board via the Managing Director.

**Responsibilities**
- Building and sustaining relationships with clients
- Conducting research on potential clients
- Generating new leads
- Selling Hastam products and services on the phone or via Teams meetings
- Meeting monthly sales targets
- Setting up sales meetings for Hastam consultants
- Co-ordinating consultants’ diaries and availability for work
- Dealing with any issues related to the fulfilment of client orders
- Accurately recording & maintaining Zoho - Hastam’s CRM system
- Completing administrative work, as required, including contracts for consultants
- Contributing to sales & marketing campaigns / strategies
- Attending Hastam conferences and sales meetings
- Booking dates for Open Courses & selling places, co-ordinating with Marketing and Finance

The person in this role will also be expected to assist, where appropriate, the Managing Director and others in Hastam, to develop the business by contributing:

- Professional advice
- Creative ideas
- To the development of policies, procedures and systems
- To marketing, promotional and sales activities
- To the ethos and practice of team working and development

**Other Requirements**

As this role will be home based the appointed person will need to be self-motivated, professional and a 'can-do’ person.

The role pays between £25k and £28k per year, dependant on sales experience, plus a generous bonus scheme.

Working hours are full-time, 9am-5pm with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. This will increase to 30 days holiday after being in post for one year.

There will be a three-month probation period for this position.

Hastam will provide the equipment required to fulfil the role.
