We’re looking for an experience and highly motivated Clinical Vaccinator to join our COVID-19 Autumn Vaccination programme in Chelsea. This is a Band 6 Bank post and is fixed term 4 to 6 weeks, with the opportunity to extend further. Two days a week in Chelsea with the possibility of covering some days in Sutton.

To administer COVID-19 vaccinations to the patients and staff members of The Royal Marsden Hospital in our COVID Vaccination booster programme at the Royal Marsden NHS Trust vaccine clinics in Sutton & Chelsea.

The Royal Marsden NHS Trust Bank Workers are paid competitive rates for London and are based on Agenda for Change pay rates.

Administration COVID-19 vaccine to already consented and assessed individuals, administration of the vaccine using the National Protocol.

Ensure correct syringes and needles used.

Ensure that vaccine batch numbers are recorded under the correct patient

Undertake mandatory training and any other training relevant to the role as required. Stay up to date and ensure always working in line with the most recent national guidance for COVID-19 vaccines.

To ensure good clinical and operational governance in the vaccination clinics.

To identify risks, monitor and investigate incidents as appropriate and oversee audits if required.
