**Job description** **About Us** We are a family run manufacturing company based in Clayton West, Huddersfield. We have been operating in this location since 1954. We have a wide range of brands and outlets and distribute nationwide. We require experienced Textile Machine operators to join our latex team. This role includes checking for imperfections and reporting them, use of machinery and working to deadlines. **Hours of work**: These roles will operate on a continuous shift pattern of Monday to Thursday, with the requirement to work 1 Friday in every 3 weeks, 6am-12pm. **Day Shift**: 6.00am - 18.00pm Machine Operative: £10.77 Full training will be provided for a 3 month period and this would be on the Day shift **Benefits** - 30 days holiday (Pro-rata) - Rising to up to an extra 5 days when reaching 5 years service. - Immediate start available. - Competitive rates of pay - Free uniform provided - Staff Discount - Christmas Bonus, Christmas Raffle & Christmas Party - Fish & Chip Fridays - Work Events **Requirements**: - Ability to learn quickly and willingness to work efficiently and a drive to improve continuously - Good communication skills - Good time management skills - An ability to work on your own initiative - The ability to adapt to changes and work under pressure - To work well as a part of a team and communicate with other workers - Positive, "can do" attitude is crucial - Latex/Coating experience would be beneficial - FLT or BOOM license beneficial **Essential**: - Good level of numeracy, literacy and general education - Basic Computer knowledge - Good level of written and spoken English - A great eye for detail **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: £10.77-£13.70 per hour **Benefits**: - On-site parking Schedule: - 12 hour shift - Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Huddersfield, HD8 9HH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - GCSE or equivalent (preferred) Work Location: One location
