Business Support Administrator

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team in an administrative estimating role. You'll play a key part in supporting our estimating and procurement functions, helping to gather subcontractor quotes, conduct material take-offs, and assist with negotiations. This role is ideal for someone with a good understanding of costs who is looking to grow in their estimating career.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Review project enquiries and organise required information.
- Perform accurate take-offs from drawings and specifications for materials like cladding, steel, and concrete.
- Obtain and compare quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Present findings to lead estimators for final decisions.
- Assist with procurement by negotiating best prices and terms with suppliers.
- Prepare and manage paperwork for subcontractor packages.
- Provide administrative support to directors and senior managers as needed.
**Key Skills**:
- Experience in estimating, procurement, or similar administrative roles.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00 per year
