We are excited to be working on behalf of a well-established family-owned building contractor who specialise in domestic construction work, ranging from small-scale re-development to large high specification new builds. As a General Builder, you’ll take a hands-on approach to a wide variety of tasks including painting and decorating, tiling, plastering, window fitting, brickworks, and basic groundworks. You’ll be working from their sites in Wrexham and Chester as part of a reputable team, working within a growing company.
You’ll be working as part of a flexible, small team, ensuring work on each site is completed on time and to the highest possible standards, whilst adhering to health and safety procedures.
**Role**:
As a General Builder, you’ll be reporting to the Senior Site Supervisor. You will take a hands-on approach to a wide variety of tasks including painting and decorating, tiling, plastering, window fitting, brickworks, and basic groundworks etc, nsure work on each site is completed on time and to the highest possible standards
**Key Responsibilities**:
- You’ll take a hands-on approach to a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to; painting and decorating, tiling, plastering, window fitting, brickworks, and basic groundworks
- Ensure work on each site is completed on time and to the highest possible standards
- Adhere to health and safety procedures
- Assisting the trades with all duties as and when needed
- Assist with all labouring duties as and when required.
**Essential**:
- You will need proven experience gained within the building and construction industry, and must be proficient in at least one of the following:
- Bricklaying
- Plastering
- Groundworks
- Tiling
- Painting and Decorating
- Full UK driving licence
- You must possess your own basic tools
**What is in it for you?**
- A salary in the region of £23,920 to £28,080, with the level dependent on experience
- Access to a company vehicle following completion of probationary period
- Permanent contract, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Flexibility will be required to meet business and customer needs, including occasional evening / weekend work.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
