**Project Officer Responsibilities**:
Working closely with Relationship Managers and other EF teams, the Project Officer will support delivery of projects and tasks on responsible sourcing of natural raw materials for a range of EF member and client companies based primarily in the UK. Key responsibilitieswill include:
Practical work on supply chain projects and tasks specified in EF Member workplans. For example, co ordinating traceability exercises, supporting grievance monitoring and reporting, conducting supply chain analysis, supporting supplier engagement, collatingtechnical research and reports
Providing operational support to Relationship Managers on selected tasks. For example, monitoring progress of Member workplan deliverables and budgets; supporting preparation of reports and communication materials in line with EF and Member requirements
Subject to workload the Project Officer may also be asked to assist with other tasks to support EF’s wider work, for example, supporting co-ordination of EF collaborative groups for Members or researching potential commodities and partner companies.
**Project Officer Requirements**:
- University degree or higher in business management, the environment, sociology/anthropology, international development, or a related field;
- Minimum 2 years relevant professional experience. Knowledge of natural raw materials and agricultural commodities an advantage;
- Good understanding of environmental, labour and social issues in supply chains;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word. GIS knowledge a plus;
- Strong organisational skills, accuracy, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple interrelated tasks;
- Proven ability to manage projects effectively and produce high-quality outputs (reports, analysis);
- Strong analytical skills and comfortable working with complex data;

- Fluency in English (written & spoken);
- Other languages (e.g. French, Spanish) an advantage.
- Based in Winchester, UK with opportunity for hybrid working;
- Occasional travel in the UK, Europe and to long-haul destinations, such as field sites in SE Asia;
- Our global operations span many time zones, which means staff are often required to work outside office hours.

**Salary**: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum
