Transformation Project Officer

The post holder will support the Local Delivery Systems’ Senior Transformation Managers in the Maternity and Child Health Collaborative Team across Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight CCG and Frimley CCG, to ensure that areas of work are planned and managed through effective commissioning and transformation support.

To succeed, you will need to be a completer/finisher with the ability to design, implement and manage robust business processes so that risks are properly managed by;
- Supporting specific projects within the Local Delivery Systems, including developing project plans, reporting progress, risks and issues.
- Supporting the delivery of operational plans across systems and the MACH Collaborative.
- Supporting and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation and evaluation of the acute and community priorities.
- Ensuring accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions and projects.

A grasp of contracting and commissioning in the NHS is also desirable. In return, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team, autonomy to lead on your own projects and a real opportunity to improve patient care for children and young people.

- Support specific projects within the Local Delivery Systems, including developing project

plans, reporting progress, risks and issues.
- Contribute to transformational change and improvement, providing support for identified

areas where agreed.
- Provide co-ordination of and participate in relevant internal and external working groups

and provide project advice, expertise and support as required.
- Provide relevant and timely advice and guidance on own portfolio of projects/functions.
- Identify the need for where and when a business case is required, work with relevant

stakeholders to draft the business case and gain approval as appropriate.
- Constantly strive for value for money, greater efficiency and improved patient experience

in the design of future care.
- Support the delivery of operational plans across systems and the MACH Collaborative.
- Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation and evaluation of the acute and community priorities, by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications and stakeholder management
