Head of HR (Projects and Employee Relations)
Our client is seeking a Head of HR (Projects and Employee Relations) - to start asap on a temp basis for 12 Months; hybrid working-£39-44 an hour
- £63-70,000
Who will you be working for?
Our Client is an innovative healthcare organisation located in the City of London.
Your responsibilities will include:
Project managing the implementation of the new HR system including analysing risks, change management etc.
To assist in the delivery of a professional and efficient HR operational function which includes the overseeing of our payroll and performance management systems to support the strategic objectives of the College.
Implementation of HR System
- Responsible for the project delivery, managing the project budget and ensuring the project meets its key milestones.
- Supporting data migration from current systems to iTrent - defining and implementing data quality review/checks/reconciliation for the system.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, influencing, and managing change and owning the relationships with third party providers.
- Identifying where HR can be more efficient, provide a greater service and add value to both HR and the College.
- Provide expert advice on iTrent functionality in relation to the HR processes in scope.
- Provide guidance through the development of comprehensive know-how documents and overseeing the delivery of training in HR, learning and development and learning and development systems.
- Reviewing and documenting all HR processes.
- Act as the HR systems figurehead helping to drive systems and analytics strategy.
HR Operational Function
- Managing monthly payroll process.
- Working with the Senior HR Co-ordinator to Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in timesheets and payroll records.
- Build and maintain relationships with fully managed payroll service.
- Manage queries through to escalations and resolution.
Employee Relations
- Manage employee relation issues to ensure they meet best practice/employment legislation.
- Play a leading supporting role in ER projects.
You will need:

- Full membership of the CIPD
- Experience of implementing and managing HR systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law
- In-depth understanding of and commitment to diversity and equality issues
- Experience of managing HR projects from inception to completion
- Substantial HR experience at a senior level
- Experience of policy and procedures development
