Hill Engineering has been a global manufacturer & exporter of award-winning excavator attachments since 1994. We manufacture a range of fully automatic quick couplers at our Headquarters in Newry.
- **Duties and Responsibilities**:_

**Production Planning and Scheduling**
- Control and update production schedule, on a continual basis, ensuring data integrity and optimal accuracy.
- In conjunction with Production Management, schedule production to both maximise production efficiency and meet customer’s requirements.
- Confirm production completion date to sales, on a timely basis & within agreed time frame.
- Raise works orders for finished product and run Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process to generate work to lists/parts works orders and distribute all accordingly.
- Create new hitch & bucket Bill of Material (BOM) on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, from information supplied by Engineers for production and pricing purposes.
- Check and approve new hitch & bucket Bill of Material (BOM) for production.
- Plan full loads/containers for despatch.

**Performance Monitoring and Reporting**
- Track production metrics such as labour efficiencies, cycle time and other KPI’s as required.
- Analyse data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on production performance for management review.

**Process Improvement**
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using production planning and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
