**Role**:Head of New Product Development

**Location**:Midlands

**Salary**:Up to 70 K

Lavandi Talent is currently working with a fantastic FMCG business who are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head of NPD to head up their highly creative NPD team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for all of Product Lifecyle form start to finish.
- Lead strategy to all stakeholders through 2-year pipeline.
- Work closely with Head of Brand Creative to ensure that Design Team and NPD work collaboratively and in harmony
- Work closely with suppliers and internal team to guarantee, values, quality and costing requirements are followed.
- Resource supply options in UK and overseas
- Support internal teams on current product development.
- Lead and keep up to date with project budgets and cost constraints.
- Work out difficulties relating to design, development and production.
- Create and manage documents across the business, to ensure they correct from a product standpoint.
- Previous experience in a Senior role, within Product Development.
- Previous experience within Beauty, Personal Care, FMCG Industry
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills, that allow for successful working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
- A team player who is adaptable, flexible, and can remain calm and work efficiently under pressure with a high attention to detail.
- Strong skillset within cost negotiation.
- Self-motivated and committed.
