Purchasing Administrator

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Administrator for a manufacturing client based in Derby.
An adaptable, hardworking, and professional Purchasing Administrator required with immediate effect.
Duties will include.
- Ensure all necessary purchasing records and registers are kept fully up to date
- Expedite purchase orders ensuring relevant documentation are received, such as certificates of conformity, pressure test certificates and 3.1 material certificates to the required date.
- Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors & service providers to ensure delivery dates are achieved. Escalating to the Buyer and/or Purchasing Manager where problems cannot be resolved.
- Managing the Purchasing process for the intercompany range of products, in line with the requirements issued via Sales.
- Single point of contact covering all Purchasing related intercompany orders.
- Planning and agreeing of container deliveries and liaising with other departments
- Monitor all imports
Key skills required;
- Education to GCSE Level or above.
- IT Literate, familiar with MRP processes and intermediate skills in Excel.
- High attention to detail.
- Flexibility in work approach and ability to prioritise.
- The ability to take the initiative and the confidence to work independently.
- Strong numeracy and Numerically astute.
- Working hours Monday - Friday 0830 - 1700
Salary dependant on experience (Up to £26k)
