A brilliant opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator to join the purchasing and supply chain team within a specialist manufacturing organisation. The role is based in Derby with one day per week from home, and is paying up to £30,000 dependent on experience.

Role responsibilities of the Purchasing Administrator:

- Placing purchase orders to meet stock requirements
- Expediting and chasing updates on existing orders
- Monitoring and maintaining the ERP system
- Working with the sales team to monitor long term forecasts
- Stock level management

Personal specification of the Purchasing Administrator:

- Effective communication skills
- Able to work under own initiative
- Able to build strong internal and external working relationships
- Strong IT skills including ERP/MRP system experience
- Motivated and driven to progress.

This position will be suited to you if you have held a role within a purchasing or supply chain team as a: Purchasing Administrator, Purchasing Coordinator, Purchasing Specialist, Supply Chain Administrator, Supply Chain Coordinator, Supply Chain Specialist,Purchasing Assistant, Supply Chain Assistant or similar.
