Think Accountancy and Finance are seeking a Group Finance Manager to join a fast growing business with offices in Watford and London. Having acquired a number of new businesses, they need a technical Senior Finance Manager to manage the finance function for one or two divisions. The role will support the Group FD to support all commercial and delivery aspects of the business through the provision of robust financial information and analysis. This is a very busy role and the Group FD is looking for someone who can manage the demand of the position whilst focusing on improving processes and is solution focused. Duties include: - Manage 1 - 2 people - Provide day to day financial support for all finance disciplines in the company - Monthly Management Accounts - Balance Sheet Reconciliations - Continuously improve speed and output of reporting process - Oversee Cash book - Agree intercompany balances at month end - Review and investigate anomalies - Cash management - weekly cashflow - Assisting with the Audit - Commercial Finance - Work with the FD on developing strategies to improve profitability - Assist with Bids and Tenders This is a role that will continually challenge and offer new projects and opportunities. You will join a diverse team and be fully supported at all times. It is a role that will need adaptability as well as a broad thinker with a focus on "getting the job done". The role is predominantly based in Watford on a Hybrid model, but you will be required to travel to their London office as required.
