Call Assist specialises in providing 24/7 vehicle assistance services, primarily following a breakdown or accident. We reach our customers fast by working with our networks of independent Recovery Operators situated throughout the UK and Europe.
Call Assist works with many companies providing a rescue service on their behalf, either behind their brand or under the Call Assist Rescue brand. As an Accounts Assistant your role will involve working in a fast-paced environment. You be part of a Team responsible for dealing with the administration of a high volume of customer claims using our in-house claims platform.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Accurately administering policyholder claims in line with the policy entitlements and agreed SLA’s.
- Validate uninsured supplier invoices.
- Reconcile receipts of payments received whilst updating relevant spreadsheets.
- Taking payments over the phone and issuing refunds to customers when required.
- Perform any Ad hoc duties to support the wider Finance / Accounts team.
**Key Attributes**
Applicants should have the following:
- Excellent written and communication/interpersonal skills.
- Work under strict deadlines and under pressure.
- Prior experience in a Customer Service role (desirable).
- Eye for detail.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- The ability to work autonomously.
**Working Hours**
The core hours for this role are 9am - 5:30pm, based in the centre of Colchester.
This role will initially be based in our St Peters Court Colchester Office, however, once fully trained this role can allow for hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week based in the Office.
