**Support Worker - Wishaw (Male only) (Drivers only)**

**Location**: Wishaw
**Hours**: Full-time - 36hours per week - Various shifts available
**Salary**:

- **Dayshift**_ = £12.21 per hour, rising to £12.60 (backdated to 01/04/2025 once Government funding comes through)
- **Nightshift**_ = £12.31 per hour, rising to £12.70 (backdated to 01/04/2025 once Government funding comes through)
**Driving Licence**: UK licence - _**Must be able to drive both manual & automatic.**_

**What You’ll Do**:

- **Supporting a person 1:1 in their home**:

- **Provide personal and clinical care**:

- **Assist with medication, housing needs, appointments, and daily routines**:

- **Encourage social participation and independence**

Whether it’s helping someone feel confident in their own home or supporting them at a community event, you’ll play a vital role in helping people feel safe, empowered, and connected.

This role can involve lone working, with on-call support available 24 hours a day.

Experience is **not essential** — we provide a full induction and ongoing training. What matters most is your ability to connect with people, your empathy, and your commitment to helping others.

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Emotionally intelligent and calm under pressure
- A great listener and communicator
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Able to build trusting relationships
- Comfortable working independently

**You’ll Need**:

- UK Driving Licence and _**ability to drive both automatic and manual cars**_
- Access to your own car would be advantageous
- Flexibility to work shift patterns (day, evening, or weekend)
