**Senior Business Analyst - Insurance - £650 PD (Inside IR35)**

**Overview**:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global insurance company for a Senior Business Analyst to work on a range of range of digital and data projects. You will Identify, define and deliver business improvement opportunities through analysis and criticalreasoning. Build in depth understanding of products, processes, systems and market practices to support business plan execution, whether business as usual or transformation related. Lead the business facing project lifecycle phases including Requirement Definitionand User Solution Reviews.
**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Gather systems and process requirements, analyse to understand and minimize unnecessary variation, document to allow business partners prioritize and verify requirements
- Channel business input to solution design and validate against business objectives, provide input to cost benefit analysis and business case definition
- Ensure solutions are consistent with operational and technology best practice in Europe
- Coordinate and lead business reviews of process and system solution design, development and test phases, including formal review and approvals if necessary
- Prepare and execute business implementation plans including training, user testing and change control management
- Build effective working relationships with business partners and across the project team at all levels to aid effective collaboration and communication
Position Requirements
**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- 6 plus years full life cycle experience in a similar position required
- Prior experience in General Insurance or Financial Services preferable
- Prior experience working in an International environment an advantage
- Process and workflow improvement experience is an advantage
- Must be flexible to travel within Europe as and when required (limited duration)
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, MS SQL and Visio required
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience in developing wireframes
- Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple locations when necessary,
- Able to lead a team of BAs or work independently or as part of a team.
- Exposure to AGILE delivery methodology
