We are seeking to appoint a Student Administration Assistant who will work as part of the Student Administration team on a range of activities supporting students and staff within the University, particularly in relation to our Professional Programmes, e.g., Nursing.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is essential for this post.

Overview
To be part of a flexible team of student administration staff working across the University’s student administration hubs, in order to provide consistent, high quality centralised student administration functions for students. To contribute to the provision of the hubs’ front line support service dealing efficiently and responsively with student enquiries and issues. To provide administrative support specifically within the Records, Data and Placements Team To contribute to the continuous improvement of services for students in line with the strategic priorities of the University and taking into account the needs of the diverse student body.
Main
**Responsibilities**:
- Under the supervision of the Records and Data Administrator and working closely with other student administration team members, undertake a variety of administration tasks as directed, across a range of locations based on operational requirements.- To be an active member of the Student Administration function, building and maintaining good working relationships with other members of the team in order to ensure an understanding of priorities and deadlines.- Contribute to the development of, and work to, agreed service standards for the team.OTHER- Deal with day
- to - day administrative enquiries in an accurate, timely and sensitive manner, escalating more complex issues to other members of the Team.- Provide support for the Records, Data and Placement Team in relation to tasks such as: to, maintain placement provider records, receive and record placement hours and absence, support the administration of student uniforms, pre-placement checks, student electronic portfolio and professional body requirements.- Undertake the processing of a variety of tasks as directed and to agreed timescales; these are likely to be online high volume transactions, or well defined processes/procedures.- Assist with University events such as open days, registration, enrolment, ID checking events and graduation as required.- Undertake other such duties commensurate with the grade and at other Bangor University locations as directed by line management.Other
