Roberto's Italian Restaurant is a modern, vibrant, and busy restaurant on Southport's Ocean Plaza.

This is an exciting opportunity for an interested person who wants to progress to earn an excellent salary by becoming an important part of our happy, friendly, close-knit team. The right applicant will take the opportunity very seriously and progress to become a valuable member of our team, eventually assisting the chefs with important food preparation.

We naturally maintain extremely high standards of cleanliness in our restaurant, therefore we are looking for a confident person with an eye for detail to join our team. The applicant should have an enthusiastic approach to their work and a positive attitude. Previous experience would be excellent however this is not necessarily essential as excellent on-the-job training will be provided. Excellent communication skills are however necessary, our kitchen is multicultural.

Overall duties will include:

- Assisting the chefs with food preparation
- Following kitchen procedures and guidelines
- Following clean-as-you-go principles in the kitchen workspace
- Cleaning kitchen areas after and during service
- Keeping kitchen areas floors and shelves scrupulously clean at all times
- Assisting Chefs during, before as well as after service

This is a permanent position to become part of a caring and loyal team.
