An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Social Media Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic and friendly team at the Marillac Neurological Care Centre (MNCC).

The Marillac Neurological Care Centre is a not for profit independent care home registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our aim is to be a leading centre of excellence for helping adults with neurological and complex physical disabilities.

The Marillac Neurological Care Centre has a particular pride in its reputation for professionalism and kindness in its service to residents. These qualities rely very much on the commitment and skills of staff and the success of the Charity depends upon co-operation, trust and respect between all levels.

This role is about developing the social media strategy for the MNCC across various channels including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify / understand target audiences.
- Work with the Fundraising Manager to ensure the consistency of messages across target audiences
- Create compelling and visually stunning stills and video content for digital platforms (inc. Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn)
- Develop content library (including photography & video with relevant permissions) and encourage collaboration across different teams to source & develop content
- Demonstrate visual storytelling and copywriting skills to drive engagement
- Hashtag research to remain current.
- Prepare content schedule for the year ahead - Including photography & video content of our events
- Co-ordinate with the Activities team for weekly activities and monthly events to post
- Collect and analyse engagement metrics
- Stay up to date with evolving media trends with similar businesses and seek innovative ideas

**Essential Qualifications and Skills Required**
- A great team player with the ability to work collaboratively
- Photography, videoing and editing skills a must
- Exceptional organisational skills, focus and attention to detail
- Ideally coming from a similar area of study, education or skills
- Maths & English GSCE - Level 2 English & Maths

The current rate of pay is **£11.55** per hour, for all hours worked. You will be contracted to work **part time Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm**. This is initially a **6 month contract** with the potential for being extended.

You will be entitled **24 days** holiday plus **8 statutory days** per year (entitlement is pro-rata for part time employees).

**Salary**: £11.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
