An ambitious, growing consumer business require an interim financial accountant on a contract basis. The Interim Financial Accountant is required to support with the year end process and will work within a group environment and be responsible for the preparationof consolidated accounts, and ultimately the statutory accounts for the Group. You’ll be technically savvy and be the go-to person in the team for recent accounting standards.

You’ll be able to work accurately under pressure, especially during the year end reporting and audit process. You’ll be comfortable thinking at corporate level, as well as drilling into the detail whilst problem solving.

Year-End Tasks:

- Key role in the annual audit, including day-to-day liaison with external auditors for year end.
- Working with the Finance team and other departments in preparation of audit deliverables.
- Ensure the business’ audit deliverables meet the year end audit milestone plan.
- Production of Statutory (company only and consolidated) FRS102 & IFRS accounts of all the Group Companies (local and overseas).
- Analysing the effect of and keeping up to date with new accounting standards then implementing them in the Financial Statements as required.
- Working with external tax experts for the year-end tax computations.

You will be ACA/CAANZ qualified with solid accounting experience including statutory accounting, consolidation, and tax and knowledge of the end-to-end statutory audit process, and experience of liaising with auditors.

The business operates a hybrid working policy with 3 days a week in their office.
