Facilities Assistant

**Duties**:
Assist with maintenance and repair of facility and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections to identify any issues or repairs needed.
- Liaise and supervise with sub
- contractors, suppliers, and engineers in relation to ad hoc repairs and planned maintenance providers.
- Reporting to directly to the Facilities and Systems Manager
- Daily meetings with Facilities Supervisor to plan the requirements for the day and week ahead.
- Assisting with setting up furniture configurations of conference rooms for office/training areas.
- Assisting with all FM tasks and reactive tasks
- Assisting with internal moves, sometimes this may require out of hours assistance.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and engineers in relation to ad hoc repairs and planned maintenance works.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocol.
- Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties as needed.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in facilities management or a related field is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and coordinate tasks effectively
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with staff members and vendors
- Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance techniques

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,684.00-£25,723.71 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

- Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
