**AJ Chambers is working with a well-established Top 100 accountancy practice based in Spalding who are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their Cloud Department. They have seen tremendous growth in the past year and which has led to this opening alongwith an ever growing need transition to a more digital way of working.**

**What will you be doing?**

Prepare bookkeeping on Cloud packages such as Xero, and QuickBooks for a range of clients from different industries. These duties would include:

- Posting and allocating bank transactions and bank reconciliations
- Raising sales and purchase invoices
- Maintaining receivables and payable lists
- Posting regular journals for payroll
- Prepare and review VAT returns and submit these to HMRC
- Liaise directly with clients on any queries and chase up information
- Liaising with the team leader and the audit & accounts department
- Flexibility to work onsite at clients
- Part time and full time roles are available.

**What is required of you?**
- AAT qualified/part qualified or qualified by experience
- Experience within a practice (but not essential)
- Understanding of accountancy principles
- Experience with Xero and QuickBooks packages
