Senior Bookkeeper

Rutherford Briant have an exciting new role for a Senior Bookkeeper to join a Top 100 Accountancy Practice in Spalding. This job would suit somebody who is currently working as a Bookkeeper in Practice and is looking for a new environment and to progress further. This role is focused on dealing with Cloud packages for clients.

**What you will do**:

- Prepare bookkeeping on Cloud packages including Xero and QuickBooks for a varied client base
- Post and allocate bank transactions and bank reconciliations
- Raise sales and purchase invoices
- Maintain receivables and payable lists
- Post regular journals for payroll
- Prepare and review VAT returns and submit to HMRC
- Liaise with clients on any queries
- Liaise with more senior staff and the audit and accounts team
- Be flexible to work onsite at clients

**What you will need**:

- AAT Qualified or Qualified by experience
- Experience within an accountancy practice is desirable
- Xero and QuickBooks experience
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to build relationships with clients
