We are currently recruiting Bank Support Workers to support individuals with autism and a learning disability within the **St Austell** or **Newquay **areas.

**Role Description**

At LDA Care we are committed to Equal opportunities. We currently have a great opportunity for dedicated Support Workers to work with individuals who have learning disability, autism and/or mental health support needs. The individuals will be living on their own so we are looking for Support Workers who can provide 360 wrap around support that covers all aspects of their life throughout the day and night.

It also reduces team members leaving because it was not the job they expected. In which I wish to have a stable team.

**About The Role within the Company**:
You will be part of a small team of dedicated Autism Support Workers and working alongside the Team Leader/facilitator and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner in providing excellent support to this young lady who deserves the best support to enjoy a quality life.

You will have a willingness to undertake training on Positive Behaviour Support, Safeguarding Vulnerable adults, Autism, and person-centred planning, Total Communication and other specific training that will be provided. You will be line managed by the Team Leader/facilitator.

**COVID-19 considerations**:
All support workers must adhere to government guidelines about their injections.

**Schedule**:

- 12 hour shift - 08:00 to 20:00 / 20:00 to 08:00 (Waking Nights)
- Overtime

**Licence/Certification**:

- Autism (preferred)
- Driver (preferred)
- **_Refer a friend bonus is payable at_**
- £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their first shift.
- £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their probation period.
