**Role - Senior Data Analyst**

**Location - Manchester (Central) - 2 days a week hybrid working**

**Salary - Up to £45,000 plus benefits package and bonus**

With a Central Manchester office, they have great public transport links and offer a flexible hybrid working pattern, 2 days a week in the office.

The company is focused on learning, development and self-improvement, whilst primarily promoting within, so progression plans within the company are attainable.

**The Role**

The data department essentially design and develop new data products and then use them to produce business critical insights across a huge range of business areas. In total there are more than 30 people in the team so there is a huge learning opportunity.

There are roles in both areas - the design of Data Products and then the Analytical use of these.

Both areas use Python as their primary programming language therefore we are looking at this level for some experience from academia or training courses. They will further develop these skills with training courses. You need to have a desire to learn anddevelop your skills.

In this role you would be expected to mentor a Junior / Graduate Analyst

**Key Duties**
- Using statistics to solve complex business problems in various domains
- Building and integrate data analytics products
- Undertaking comprehensive exploratory data analysis, building engaging visualisations, validated against available data and expert judgement
- Evaluating data outputs prior to their use across the business.
- Being a data expert across multiple projects, assuring the quality of data used
- Surfacing key evidence-backed insights from data and produce visualisations
- Using statistics and business domain experience to solve complex business problems in the specific area
- Embedding data analytics products in operational processes and decisions
- Writing and reviewing SQL and Python code, aligned to current team best practices

**Requirements**:

- Python - we are looking for skills in Python programming for this role.
- Analytical Mindset or Statistical Background.
- Any other Programming languages such as SQL would be a bonus.
