We are looking to recruit 3 Support Workers, we have the following positions available;
- 2 x 30 hrs Support Worker based at Lowena in Truro
- 1 x 30 hrs Support Worker based at The Bungalow in Penzance

Our respite services are looking for the right individuals to join our exceptional, committed and aligned team.

Lowena and The Bungalow are both a unique setting that provides a homely environment for people with learning disabilities to stay overnight. We are able to provide much needed breaks for families and carers to enable families to continue living together.

Our service aims to provide an environment where people feel valued equally, listened to, respected, included and empowered.

We greatly value our staff team and strive to provide a comfortable and fun working environment. We offer flexibility to ensure that you have a good work/ life balance. We provide regular 1-1 meeting to provide full support, enable you to excel in your role, and provide training opportunities to further progress your career.

We appreciate people’s values and behaviours over their working experience. Experience is not essential. We are happy to fully support and train the person that is right for our team. We are looking for someone who is caring, empathetic, proactive, a problem solver, has good communication skills and most importantly has a good sense of humour

Benefits that we offer are:

- Hourly rates of £10.50 - £11.69 for Support Workers, and hourly rates of £11.69 - £14.34 for Senior Support Workers.
- 24 days annual leave per year (pro-rata), rising to 28 days after five years continuous service.
- Sick pay scheme and company pension.
- Occupational health teams and access to external services supporting the welfare of our staff
