We have a fantastic opportunity to join a School in the Feltham area as an Learning Support Assistant supporting 2 pupils in a year 1 class. The role is a fulltime position from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm.

You must have experience working with children in some form of capacity and be willing to support children with multiple special needs

**The School**:

- A primary school for children with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, some of whom also have an additional diagnosis of autism
- Cater for children from 3 to 11 years old
- OFSTED 'Good' rated school located in Feltham
- Pupils are happy to be at school and keen to participate in the wide variety of activities provided for them
- Learning environments are stimulating, interesting and designed to meet pupils' needs, including those of pupils who use wheelchairs and/or walkers

**The Role**:

- Promote inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities
- Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school's policy and procedures
- Communicate effectively and sensitively with pupils to adapt to their needs and support their learning
- Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment by organising and managing physical teaching space and resources
- Create a stimulating environment and motivate pupils with their learning

**Requirements**:

- Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4pm
- Good communication skills are essential to communicate effectively with the pupils and teachers as an Learning Support Assistant
- The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and remain calm under pressure as an Early Years Learning Support Assistant
- You will need a good understanding for building positive relationships with children
- Either live in Feltham or within a commutable distance
