Northern Health Care Ltd provides mental health recovery services across the North of England. Our services include both residential units and community outreach including 24 hr support and access to experienced qualified staff. We are looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to support the CEO and Directors based at head office in Eccles.

Role

To provide personal assistance to the Chief Executive Officer and secretarial support to the Directors. Provide administrative support to the CEO in managing his diary, the organisation of meetings and the maintenance of confidential documents and files as well as overall administration.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls
- Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments, often controlling access to the manager/executive
- Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
- Organising events and conferences
- Prioritising important tasks and deadlines
- Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence in line with legislation and various healthcare governing bodies
- Managing databases and filing systems
- Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems
- Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
- Collating and filing expenses
- Travel to and from sites will be required where necessary
- Assist the department with adhoc administration support where necessary

**Key attributes we will be looking for**:

- At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience working within the healthcare industry is advantageous
- Discretion and trustworthiness: you will often be party of confidential information
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- The ability to be proactive and take the initiative
- Tact and diplomacy
- Communication skills
- High level of knowledge using Microsoft such as SharePoint, Excel, word
- A knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software if required
- Confident and down to earth nature is a must

**Job Type**: Full-time

Working Hours

The role is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.

Key responsibilities
- Managing communication and calendar scheduling of the Executive Directors.
- Preparation for and coordination of Executive and other key stakeholders’ meetings and events.
- Recording and maintenance of the Executive minutes, reports and other documentation.
- Coordination of travel and booking arrangements for the Executive.
- Ensuring that all administrative processes for the Executive Directors are effective and efficient.
- Assistingng individual directors with departmental projects as required.
- Act as the main head office contact, coordinator of stationery, kitchen essentials and office maintenance.

Key requirements
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role supporting multiple directors or senior managers.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite particularly, Excel, Outlook, Word and Sharepoint
