AIM:
To work with the reservations team to ensure a smooth and efficient service through effective management of systems and procedures. To maximise occupancy, sales revenue and to communicate effectively with all departments across the Resort, providing a 4 star level of customer service at all times.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Ensure that all incoming calls are handled in a prompt and professional manner “with a smile” and that any apologies for delays in the calls being answered are made
- Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate.
- To be fully conversant with the V1 reservation computer system in accordance with hotel standard.
- To be aware of all rates and promotions within the business ensuring all enquiries are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the hotel facilities and contribution to a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques and billing.
- Ensure payment transactions including cash, debit and credit cards are processed efficiently in a polite and courteous manner.
- Ensure, during bookings that up selling opportunities on the Resort are pursued in order to maximise revenue.
- Understand seasonal and historic trends and work within them to ensure maximum occupancy and average room rates.
- You will be required to display a high level of appearance. This will require the wearing of either company uniform or the appropriate business attire.
- Flexibility is required in relation to working hours/days to cover sickness, holidays etc within your team. Also assisting within the Resort as the needs of the business dictate.
Administration
- To complete an accurate filing of all reservations correspondence to include archive information.
- To liaise closely with the conference sales team with regard to group bookings, ensuring rooming lists are obtained and checked for accuracy in a timely manner prior to the group arrival and contract terms.
- To maintain availability and rates with all designated agencies, extranet sites, and other bookings engines in accordance with sales strategy.
- To complete weekly rooms/ sleepers forecast ensuring accurate figures also ensuring food and beverage requirements are communicated to all departments involved.
- To ensure the daily brief sheet is completed accurately on a daily basis and communicated to all departments
- Assist in the upkeep of the client changing facilities and the relax areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have excellent IT skills and at least one years experience of working in a tele-sales or similar environment.
PAY STRUCTURE:
£20,280.00 + bonus scheme after completion of probation
SHIFT DETAILS:
40 hours per week over 5 days, between Monday
- Saturday hours range from 8.30am
- 7.00pm
**Salary**: £20,280.00 per year
