AGA Rangemaster are currently recruiting for Maintenance Operative in Leamington Spa, working 39 hours per week.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**
- Conducts all the operations necessary to ensure the operational readiness and reliability of equipment.
- Carries out maintenance work (preventive and corrective), in line with the schedule and processes defined by the command line, respecting safety rules and working conditions,
- Makes sure that equipment is well maintained and available for the production activity,
- Enters information on repairs conducted in the computer system and updates machine files,
- Suggests improvements to resources to optimise safety conditions, quality, machine uptime, and production costs,
- Communication between shifts ensuring handovers is effective (written and digital),
- Ensuring cleanliness and organisation of maintenance department and working areas,
- Maintenance of site facilities including compressors, boilers, chillers, fire systems, lighting, and general building status, Product Design, and Industrial Production Process
- May be involved in the acceptance phase of new equipment or take part in development, as well as machine/process moves.

**Skills and Knowledge Required**:

- Experience carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.
- Ability to have analytical approach with sound problem solving ability.
- Previous experience carrying out preventative maintenance tasks.
- Ability to read and understand both electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure maintenance repairs are carried out to high standards.
- Excellent communicator and strong communication skills.
- Calm and resilient under pressure
- Knowledge of carrying out maintenance on Robots.
- Competent with the use of IT.

**Desirable skills but not essential**:

- Time served apprenticeship in engineering function.
- Knowledge of PLCs.

- Meticulous, proactive, able to work independently and take the initiative, receptive, communication skills, keen to acquire new professional skills, and develop within their career. service-minded, analytical capacity and diagnostic capabilities.
- Knowledge of technical English an advantage

**Technical knowledge**:

- Proficiency in the techniques employed in his area of activity,
- Awareness of issues relating to hygiene, safety, and the environment.
- Some specific training requirements (forklift truck driver, etc.) may be necessary, depending on the activities.
