Working in partnership with colleagues across the University, we are seeking a senior leader to enhance our reputation through deepening and broadening current international partnerships and developing new alliances with a broad range of organisations in diverse geographies. We have long been recognised as a leader in transnational education, with over 6,000 of our students being taught at a range of partner institutions in China, in addition to circa 70 students joining our MBBS programme on our Malta campus annually, and students also joining postgraduate law programmes run in Paris. We are looking the enhance and broaden this reputation.

As a key member of the Senior Executive Team, reporting the President and Principal, the **Vice-Principal (International) **will be responsible for the delivery of a number of key elements of Strategy 2030, as well as playing a key role in the broad strategic development and management of the University, and being a key senior ambassador internationally. In terms of specific areas of focus, the Vice-Principal (International) will report against key Strategy 2030 KPIs relating to reputation, international partnerships, international student recruitment and alumni engagement.

As Vice-Principal (International), you will be an established leader in your academic field. A strong collaborator with a focus on delivery, you will be comfortable operating at Senior Executive level, working with others on the Senior Executive Team, most notably the Faculty VPs and VP for Strategic Policy and Partnerships, to take forward the University’s international agenda. Partnerships with high-quality organisations will be developed, where appropriate, to be genuinely cross-University, delivering tangible results for Queen Mary.
