Igne are seekinga meticulous and proactive **Credit Controller** to join our team in **Ross on Wye, Herefordshire **on a temporary basis. We have an urgent need for someone to join us for the next few months to assist with the timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with clients. This is a **full-time **role working 37.5 hours each week.

We are Igne Group Limited, a synergetic amalgamation of six companies, renowned within our respective fields, with over 350 years of combined experience. A one-stop-shop for pre
- and post-construction services. Igne’s six service categories are: site investigation, testing, unexploded ordnance, water wells, geothermal, and geo-environmental.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger to ensure timely collection of payments
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions related to debt collection
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve any discrepancies or disputes regarding payments
- Utilise accounting software for data entry and management of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts and present findings to management

**Essential**
- Proven experience in a credit control
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, enabling effective assessment of financial information
- Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good organisational skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to maintain positive client relationships
- Proficient using Microsoft Excel

**Salary & Benefits**:

- Hourly rate on offer around £12.30 per hour
