**The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company **are recruiting for an exciting Senior Internal Auditor role for a FTSE 250 engineering business within the automotive industry. The role has become vacant due to the incumbent member of staff moving into thewider business.

This is a key role within the business, assisting the internal audit team with the completion of the annual plan. With a heavy focus on operational audits across this global business, there will be a small amount of travel, to both Detroit and Germany, aspart of this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified internal auditor (ACA, ACCA or CIA) to enter into a business at a time of growth, with further members of the team potentially being added into next year.

**Experience Requirement**:

- ACA, ACCA Qualified or PQ or CIA with 2+yrs PQE Strong Internal Audit and operational/compliance audits experience.
- Excellent writing & verbal communication skills Strong influencing & negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Experience of building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.

**Desirable Experience**
- Experience of working internationally in different cultures.
- Experience of large-scale multi-site manufacturing operations is desirable.

**Salary / benefits**
- Up to £60k base salary Bonus + pension + car allowance.
