An exciting fixed-term opportunity has arisen within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust for a support worker to work as part of our Schema Therapy informed Community OPD (Offender Personality Disorder) Pathway service within Probation across Lincolnshire.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to support the ongoing delivery of the core consultation and the IIRMS (Intensive Intervention Risk Management) services, to support with early identification offering a mix of consultation, formulation, supervision, training and time limited intervention.

We are committed to working in partnership with the National Probation service
- this service is a joint enterprise so relies on collaborative working. We also work in partnership with prison services, other healthcare providers and our criminal justice system partners to improve health, support justice and reduce re-offending behaviour.

**The post holder will**:

- Assist with the identification of individuals with likely problematic personality traits.
- Assist with a case consultation service to staff in the Probation Service local delivery units and Approved
- Under supervision assist with the development of case formulations for individuals with the most complex needs where establishing the management arrangements and pathway requires a sophisticated understanding of the individual in order to help the Probation Practitioner engage effectively with the individual
- Support joint case working with Probation Practitioners where the objectives of the work will be clearly identified in the case formulation and are likely to focus on specific areas like motivation and engagement, or risk assessment and management
- Assist with workforce development: Staff training and development underpins the effective delivery of the offender personality disorder strategy to enhance confidence and relational ways of working.
- Support the development and delivery of a core IIRMS (Intensive Integrated Risk Management Service) which includes undertaking assessments, developing engagement plans and assisting with the provision of therapy informed interventions
- Assist with clinically related administration, service development, audits and research.
- Support the delivery of reflective practice to staff working in the Probation Approved Premise
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Engage with Clinical supervision

The Offender Health directorate in Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides Healthcare to nine prisons and a short term holding facility in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. These services include physical healthcare, mental healthcare, and intellectual disability, neurodevelopmental and substance misuse services. The Directorate also provides specialist treatment to individuals with personality related difficulties at HMP Whatton and HMP North Sea Camp, in addition to 2 Therapeutic Communities at HMP Gartree and HMP Dovegate (joint NHS/ HMPPS), and also offer OPD services within Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire (community provision).
