**Data Entry Clerk**
Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our leading engineering client are looking to add a Data Entry Clerk to their already strong team on a permanent basis.
This job would suit someone with previous administration experience to support the Payroll Team with all timesheet entry and General Administrative Support
This is a well-established and exciting company which is highly regarded within their industry and has enjoyed continual growth through the pandemic, with next years predicted to be circa £130m, due to the nature of the business this role is 5 day a weekonsite.
The successful individual will have strong coherent communication skills, both verbally and written.
They will have excellent digital capabilities and be a key team player to drive efficiencies into the team through best practice IT skills. For this role you will need good attention to detail, with a strong sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability.Excel skills are essential for this role.
Duties will include:
- Updating the scheduler
- Expenses - querying and ensuring expenses are paid correctly
- Dealing with any queries from payroll and ops
- Maintaining the shared inbox
- Chasing for timesheets
- Liaising with recruitment - new starters, agreement packages
- Updating spreadsheets with relevant information
- Preparing and sorting timesheets for data entry
- Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted
- Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete timesheets
- Sending reminders
- Admin adhoc
