**The Role**

This role sits within the editorial team of the Just Auto B2B website, a leading source of global automotive industry, news, analysis and interviews. The team is part of a larger group of journalists working across eight sectors.

We are looking for a reporter and writer who can source and produce news items as well as produce engaging features for a business audience within set time frames.

**Key responsibilities**
- React to the industry’s news agenda to originate news, interviews and topical feature articles.
- Source ideas for - as well as research and write - features that are engaging, relevant and in line with our audience strategy.
- Establish a network of contacts and sources for the site.
- Build relationships within the industry and act as a platform ambassador at events and shows.
- Maintain the highest standards of editing possible.
- Work with colleagues in the data journalism, research and analysis teams to produce data-led articles.
**Core Competencies for Role**
- Experience in news and/or feature writing.
- Proven ability to identify, research and develop a feature.
- Command of the English language.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Understanding and ability to interpret basic financial data.
- Strong eye for detail, proofing and subbing.
- Ability to work with data and industry reports.
- Knowledge of SEO and Google trends an advantage, but not essential.
- Automotive industry knowledge a bonus, but not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £27,000.00 per year
