We have an exciting opportunity for a Reservations & Leisure Sales Executive to join our hotel. As our Reservations & Leisure Sales Executive you will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest’s expectations. You should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. You should have a warm, personable nature and a can-do attitude. In this type of industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed. You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below combined with a passion for delivering exceptional service. **Main duties and responsibilities;** - Ensure the department provides a high level of customer service and meets brand standards. - Manage all leisure enquiries, including any membership cancellations and annual membership renewals. - Take reservations for Golf and Spa bookings in an efficient manner and input into hotels reservation systems. - Process bookings from online travel agents ensuring all data is correct. - Oversee the accuracy of room blocks and reservations, updating & chasing allocations & provisional bookings. - Accepting deposits, processing payments and ensuring all revenue is posted. - Responsible for maximising revenue for the Leisure Club and Spa through effective diary management and sales. - Provide general support to the sales team and the Reservations Executives by assisting with hotel enquiries and bookings. - Have full knowledge and understanding of all hotel packages and selling strategies. - Ensure that communication procedures are effective and efficient on a day to day basis enabling Golf & Leisure operations to plan and deliver all customer service requirements. - Prepare, collate and distribute function sheets on a weekly basis. - Co-ordinate constructively with both the Revenue Manager and the Golf & Leisure Sales Manager to complete all weekly and monthly occupancy and room forecasting. - Establish, maintain and develop interactive customer / agent relations and to be aware of any possible future requirements. - Support with initiative and commitment the overall objectives of the business in terms of revenues, costs and team work, whilst developing personal competency levels. - Have experience of working within a hotel or similar high quality environment - Be able to deliver excellent customer service at all times - Be smart and professional in appearance with a "can do" attitude **The Essential Skills**: - Well organised and structured in their approach - Approachable and personable - Demonstrate excellent communication skills **The Desirable Skills**: - Confident personality with presence - Engaging and supportive - Forward thinking
