**GCP DevOps Engineer - 100% remote (UK based) - Kubernetes. Cross train from AWS.** Avanti Recruitment is working with a leading publishing company in London to recruit a fully remote Google Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer with good skills and experience in Kubernetes to join their software team. They are happy to cross train DevOps Engineerswith AWS experience as long as you have the Kubernetes skills.

They have an established DevOps Environment but are migrating all their systems from AWS to GCP and moving over 300 webservices to Kubernetes so there will be many technical challenges along the way. They run a microservices architecture and are onboardingnew international clients every week so there are challenges in improving the scalability and reliability of their Cloud platforms and software delivery as they continue to grow.

Key Technical skills include:

- Google Cloud Platforms (GCP) / Happy to cross train from AWS.
- Kubernetes container orchestration / Docker
- GIT repos
- Load balancers
- Helm charts
- Scripting skills in Go and / or Python would be beneficial

Location: 100% remote - London office for the few occasions a year they do meet up

**Salary**: £70,000 - £80,000

Duration: Permanent
