**
The Role: GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer
Reporting into the Chief Cloud Architect, you will join the Cloud Engineering team and help build the future for the firms SaaS offerings. This will support the development of Cloud Services by providing the bridge between the product development and Clouddelivery functions by architecting solutions enabling them to be consistently delivered in the Cloud and allowing for autoscaling and performance that match their clients ambition and growth.

You will manage the company's cloud architecture and position in cloud environments. You will assist the Cloud Engineering team in defining and maintaining cloud systems including the front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks.

**Key Responsibilities: GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Work with the Head of Cloud Architecture to support the cloud strategy and manage the product in the cloud adaption and adoption process.
- Work with Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible and Docker
- Develop and build out the required cloud infrastructure
- Implement Cloud and DevOps best practices
- Ensure highest level of Security best practices are used, including access controls, authentication, IAM, network boundaries
- Develop and organise cloud specifications and easy deployment.
- Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.

**Skills & Experience Required: GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience developing and supporting ISV / IT cloud solutions.
- Practical DevOps experience - Use of CI/CD pipeline tooling, configuration management, containers, etc.
- Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker experience
- In depth knowledge of GCP (e.g. GKE, Cloud SQL, Cloud Build, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub)
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
- Good knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.

**Desirable: GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Existing cloud platform certifications
- Proficient in one or more development languages e.g., Java, Python
- Linux, Security, and/or Networking knowledge
