**Infrastructure Engineer (Azure/365)**
Our trusted client that operates within the financial services industry is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer who has recent project experience utilising Azure, 365 and VMware within a complex global environment. You must be able to support an internal userbase by patching, maintaining and managing production and Dev and Test environments (on premise and Cloud) and Support infrastructure at an Operating System and Application level.
Our client is paying a basic salary of £58,000 + 15% bonus + excellent benefits to be based in either Chatham or Wolverhampton 3 x PW (on average).
The role involves hands on technical skills in implementing, managing, and supporting solutions including Windows Server, O365 (enterprise tools), Group Policy and IaaS solutions on Cloud, with deployment through automated techniques.
**Core responsibilities**:

- Supporting (patching, maintain and managing) production and Dev and Test environments (on premise and Cloud) and Support infrastructure at an Operating System and Application level
- Provide support to the existing Server infrastructure and act as escalation for team support activities.
- Administration and development of On-Premise Exchange and Office 365 environments
- Offer expertise within the team for the resolution of all technical incidents and problems
- Keep all of the environment patched to the required standards at all time.
- Creation and growth of Dev-Ops approaches and increase the use of Infrastructure as code throughout the enterprise.
- Creation of technical documentation and knowledge transfer to IT Level 1, 2 and 3 teams.

**Key skill set**:

- On-prem to cloud migration capabilities within a large corporation.
- Srong capabilities in AD at Enterprise/Multi Forest Scale
- Strong experience within MS Exchange and Exchange Online
- Good experience with MS Azure and Cloud Based computing methodologies
- Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting
- Industry recognised certification within Azure, AWS, Microsoft
