**Wessex Lodge are located in Whitechurch in the borough of Basingstoke and Deane in Hampshire, England. It is on the River Test, not far from Newbury, or Berkshire. Much of the town is a Conservation Area. Because of the amount of wildlife in and near the River Test, its course and banks are designated as Site of Special Scientific Interest. Whitchurch is the Gateway to the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.**

**Wessex Lodge offers Nursing, Residential and Dementia care for 40 people. It extends over three floors, with each of the bedrooms providing en-suite facilities, whilst some of the ground floor rooms have access via patio doors onto the substantial gardens.**

**Requirements**:
Duties will include but not limited to:

- Ensure residents rooms are cleaned to the highest standard.
- Clean all communal areas on a regular.
- Cleaning of all sanitary ware in residents rooms using the chemicals supplied.
- Clean all hard floors, taking care to leave them in a safe condition and use warning signs as appropriate.
- To ensure that all chemicals are used in a way stipulated in the COSHH data sheets and that no chemicals other than those supplied by the Company are used at any time.
- To ensure that all appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used at all times when completing cleaning tasks.
