**Wessex Lodge are located in Whitechurch in the borough of Basingstoke and Deane in Hampshire, England. It is on the River Test, not far from Newbury, or Berkshire. Much of the town is a Conservation Area. Because of the amount of wildlife in and near the River Test, its course and banks are designated as Site of Special Scientific Interest. Whitchurch is the Gateway to the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.**

**Wessex Lodge offers Nursing, Residential and Dementia care for 40 people. It extends over three floors, with each of the bedrooms providing en-suite facilities, whilst some of the ground floor rooms have access via patio doors onto the substantial gardens.**

**Requirements**:
Duties will include but not limited to:

- Work as an active member of the Housekeeping team and carry out all domestic tasks as required
- Hold team meetings and keep written records of those meetings on file
- Conduct 1:1 supervisions and appraisals
- Supervise and organise the daily work routines of the housekeeping team
- Ensure safe working practice at all times
- Clean all communal areas on a regular basis
- Ensure that all chemicals are used in a way stipulated in the COSHH data sheets
