Pod talent are excited to be partnered up with an internationally renowned leading suppliers of analogue and digital audio, video and fibre cables who are looking for a Procurement & Purchasing Specialist to join their team in Central London (Office Based).

In this role you will be responsible for working closely with a set of suppliers to decrease lead times and improve strategic relationships as well as identifying new suppliers when the business requires.

This a fantastic opportunity to join a company who works closely with well know-businesses, with over 3000 SKUs in their portfolio and stakeholders based in Italy, Lichtenstein, Hungary, Germany, Taiwan and China - you will get the chance to broaden yourknowledge and experience in procurement/buying.

Role and responsibilities:

- Negotiate effectively and efficiently in order to contribute to overall business growth goals and objectives
- Identify, source and onboard new suppliers and identify new and ad-hoc products and components
- Deal with import/export documentations set in line with the statutory guidelines
- Monitor stock levels, lead times, demand and warranties
- Manage the performance of key suppliers - conduct key supplier reviews and analysis and implement changes where necessary

Key skills & experience required:

- 2-3 years experience in Buying/Purchasing/Procurement
- Good negotiation skills and sourcing skills
- Great analytical skills (Excel + SAGE ideally)
- Experience with post Brexit import/export regulations
- Ideally knowledge with the Pro AV and touring markets
- Organised, proactive with great communication skills
