**Electrical**

The electrical training centre is superbly equipped and provides a comfortable learning environment for students. Experienced staff deliver a three-step NVQ Level 3 Electrical Training Course combining practical skills and theory knowledge, allowing you to become a qualified electrician.

Options Skills provide you with the best platform from which to gain the qualifications, skills and knowledge you need.

**Mechanical**

King & Moffatt Building Services are a forward-thinking business who see apprentices as their skilled workforce of the future. An overview of the apprenticeships that King & Moffatt Mechanical provide are designing, installing, and servicing engineering systems used to cool/heat large buildings like factories, office blocks, hospitals and warehouses.

Building Services Engineering makes buildings work and is a specialist branch of engineering within the construction sector.

Craftsperson’s undertake the installation, testing, pre-commissioning and decommissioning of large scale engineering systems and they will have detailed knowledge of the systems operating principles.

Our apprentice Craftsperson’s will attend Salford City College Manchester and take the Apprentice Building Services Engineering Craftsperson course on a block release basis.

The apprenticeship is a 4 year apprenticeship;
- Years 1 & 2 will lead to a City & Guilds Level 2 Heating and Ventilating Installer Qualification (Industrial & Commercial).
- Years 3 & 4 will lead to a City & Guilds Level 3 Heating and Ventilating Installer Qualification (Industrial & Commercial).
- In years 3 & 4 we will select whether the apprentice learns to weld pipework using Manual Metal Arc (MMA) welding methods or Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding methods.
- After the 4 year apprenticeship King & Moffatt will encourage apprentices to continue with their chosen career.
