Competitive salaries and excellent benefits including up to one day's paid leave each year to undertake volunteering opportunities https://www.makeuk.org/ The role will involve developing and delivering further education engineering subjects with qualifications including Pearson BTEC National Diplomas, EAL Vocational Awards, and City and Guilds qualifications. This role will be teaching electrical skills up to level 3. Applications are welcome to individuals from industry looking to move into the education field; training will be provided. Responsibilities Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments Develop course materials including handouts and reference materials Deliver practical training to apprentices and adults Create a motivational learning environment Assess learners’ progress, provide constructive feedback and progress reports Experience and Skills Required Time served apprentice, relevant City and Guilds (part 3) qualification or full Technical Certificate or national Certificate or higher Level 3 (or higher) teacher training qualification (desired) A1 and V1 (desired) Industrial experience combined with knowledge of current industry and best practice standard (desirable) Good presentation and communication skills Safeguarding Information SAFEGUARDING INFORMATION This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
